The board is aware of the graffiti at the pool house.  We have had removed it as best as we can given the current weather conditions.  Once the water is turned back on at the pool house we will have it pressure washed and removed entirely.

The Board approved the September 2010 Meeting Minutes and the September 2010 Financial Statement.

Committee Reports:
Design Review Committee – The Board was updated on the status of 3 perimeter fences that still need to be replaced and stained.

Pool:  The Board is getting bids to replace the pool house roof.  We currently have 2 bids we are compairing and are waiting for more detailed pricing information Homestead Farm HOA more….

The annual board meeting will be held on November 29, 2010 at 7:00pm at Holly Baptist Church.  There will be two board positions voted in.  Please plan on attending.

Homeowners Comments:  It was asked of the Board by a Homeowner to remove a tree on the south greenbelt that is in bad shape and could become potentially dangerous.  The Board will be getting a bid from Matt’s Maintenance to remove the tree.

 Committee Reports:
Design Review Committee, Tony present:  – The Board approved 6  new DRC members, Roger Gail, Tracy Blorque, J.T. Capps, Jeff von Breitenfield, Mike Piazza and Jim Reed; in addition to the 3 current members, Tony Hjelmstad, Chris Graham and Sally Kramer for a grand total of 9 DRC members.   A minimum of 5 votes will be required for any request.  The Board would also like to remind Homeowners that all DRC requests must be sent to Cheryl Witt at ACCU, there is a link to the form on our website under the Architectural Info tab. more….

Committee Reports:
Design Review Committee, Tony present:  – Tony presented the Board with a few issues regarding Homeowners requests to the DRC.  We also discussed options for dealing with houses that are in foreclosure in regards to yard maintenance. 

Pool:
Pool Rule Changes- The new pool rule changes seem to be working well.  The guards are staying on top of making sure that the 9 to 11 year olds that are not accompanied by a parent have fulfilled the swim test and have a waiver on file in the pool office.  We have around 20 waivers on file at this time.  more….
