PERIMETER FENCE NOTES:

1. Rails cut to fit between the posts is an acceptable alternative to notching the post as long as a fabricated bracket is used to connect the rails to the post. Toe-nailing the rail to the post is not acceptable.
2. Brick pillars shall be raised to match the height of the fence top cap, or removed completely. Brick pillars shall maintain the concrete cap and two layer corbal as currently exists. Posts shall be installed as close to the brick pillars as possible. Gaps between brick pillars and wood fence should be kept to a minimum.
3. All fence material shall be stained the approved color.
   BEHR brand solid stain, oil latex. Formula of Plymouth Gray, Pinto White #337, Base B36C1214.

and you end up with Plymouth Gray #504
